As young professionals who've experienced the challenges of modern dating firsthand, we created Double Upp with a clear mission: to make dating safer, more comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. We noticed how many of our friends felt anxious about meeting strangers one-on-one, and we realized there had to be a better way.

Our journey began when Sarah, our co-founder, had a particularly uncomfortable dating experience. That evening, she wished her best friend had been there. This sparked the idea: what if we could transform the traditional dating model into something more natural and secure? By bringing your best friend along, we're not just creating dates – we're creating memorable social experiences where genuine connections can flourish.
